Hello I want to talk about Apple ID. What is it? It’s an username that name requires an email address for example with your name and gmail yahoo or icloud on the end.
What will it do for you?
It is for App store iCloud iMessage and Facetime
Or any subcriptions for example Apple Music or Apple TV.
Change Apple ID?
What if I want to change my Apple ID? Yes you can but remember that all apps including purchase and free will always be linked to this Apple ID.
Work email?
What if my Apple ID has my work email? It is not what I recommend to have work email as Apple ID. Best to have your personal email address. What if you quit your job or retiree. You may not able to access to your Apple ID account.
Go to Appleid.apple.com to add your personal email address as second address so you still can get access to your account if you forget your password so Apple ID can send yoy a link to reset your password to your personal email.
Two factor authorization
What is two factor authorization? It is an extra security for your password that verifies you as owner not anyone might know your password. If yoy sign in your iPad, iPhone or computer for first time it will ask you to turn on two factor authorization and create a digit code. Make sure your code is unique not as simple as 1234.
If you forget your password, go to appleid.apple.com and reset password. Apple will send you two factor authorization code to your trusted devices such as computer or iPad. It will pop up a window and it will look like a location as map and on bottom it will show allow button and you click on it.

It will show up code and you put your four digit code that allow you to reset your password.
How to protect password?
How can I protect my password in safe place? There are options for example in App store there are apps specifically for password for example Keeper or 1Password

but its a pay service or you can store your password on Note app and lock it with your custom password.
