Where did I put my phone?
Feel familiar? Yes it happened to me many times and sometimes I couldn’t remember where I put my phone or not on my usual places. Or I start imagining that I lost my phone somewhere? Grocery store or it fell from my pocket when I walked with my dog outside?
Don’t worry, if your family member for example children or spouse who has iPhone or iPad. You can access find my app and tap on it. On bottom of the app you will see People, Devices, and me and tap on Devices, you will able to see your devices list. Tap on your device for example your iPhone. You will see map and see if its still online. Good news if its still on. If it shows in the house. Perfect but where is it in the house? Unfortunately it won’t show exactly location in the house. If your children or spouse can hear, you can tap on PLAY SOUND then you will able to locate your device.
If still lost? You can tap lost mode and activate it. It will ask you if you want to put down your contact info for example phone number or email if your device was found. If still lost, you can tap erase your phone and it will be removed from iCloud and won’t be found again.
What if I don’t have another device? You can use your computer or a public computer and go to www.icloud.com
You will see the website with iCloud apps and there is Find Phone app and it will be same process. You will see FIND, LOST MODE and ERASE your phone.
